Like anything in life always take CBD in moderation. Our bodies are complex chemistry labs and in some cases, a herb, food, drink or drug will have a varied desired or undesired reaction to our individual internal body chemistry. This is no different with CBD and if you are taking CBD for the first time should monitor how it makes you feel or any undesired side effect that could be associated with taking it.

CBD has been found to be safe when taking it orally for most adults when taking daily 300mg doses. Higher doses of 1200 to 1500 mg taken daily have also been found to be safe in most cases for the general population for those who need a higher dose of CBD for seizures and epilepsy.

CBD has also been found to interact with some medications so if you are on medication make sure to consult with your doctor before taking any CBD oil.

So in general CBD is safe for the general population to take on a daily bases. However, less than 1% of those who have taken CBD have found side effects including:

Dry mouth
Changes in appetite

If you begin taking CBD and notice any of these side effects then stop taking it to speak with your doctor and do some research on the CBD you are taking. It is important to note that there are some CBD oil distributed that might be of a lower quality, so do your research before buying and taking CBD.
